Rusty's Dock
Rusty's Dock
8” x 12” Acrylic on canvas
Third in my coastal living series is located at Robber’s Knob, a short way into Port Neville inlet. The area looks out to July point, with the Vancouver Island mountains in the background. It hosts ancient native petroglyphs, a miden and some very interesting history.
We have a few neighbours in the inlet which we enjoy visiting with when the opportunity arises, all of which have very beautiful and unique homesteads.
To me a beautiful sunny day is poor painting material, I enjoy a moody, misty, or stormy scene. While this piece is a little out of character for my normal taste, what made me want to paint it was the way the sun lights up the shallow water and the rocks jutting out of the miden.
Piece will be shipped within 5 business days.
