I first met the Brad, the captain of Argellite at Shoal Bay on a family cruise out on the water in August. A year later we met again as Argellite tied up to our Port Neville dock for the night and enjoyed a good chat in our little art gallery there. Argellite and my families beloved Sea Scout lll were built by the Wicks Brothers boatyard, Brads grandfather, and like myself, he loves the heritage and rich history of these boats on the coast. I was commissioned to paint the Argellite as she cruised out of the Port Neville inlet on a misty morning. I enjoyed playing with light to enhance the scene as she was off to new adventures.
